THE BASICS
Paige grew up in New York (the state, not the city), but has hopped between her home state, Pennsylvania, and Georgia over the last few years. She is fortunate to call the Adirondacks her home away from home, spending summers upstate at her family’s beloved cabin on the lake. When she isn’t writing or editing, Paige is most likely tuning into Formula 1, reading several books at once, accompanying her parents on their retirement adventures, getting matcha at her favorite coffee shop, or going on a walk & antiquing with friends.
engineering meets writing
A lifelong dancer, singer, and STEM kid, Paige’s interests were always going to bridge the gap between technical and creative. Her career in the medical device industry came as no surprise, but her love of writing was, as they say, a slow burn. Experimenting first with songwriting and then blog posts, Paige re-entered the creative writing world in the middle of a coffee shop. On a whim, she opened a document she’d started as a sixteen-year-old and hadn’t touched since—a story about a girl, a plane, and a missing father.
The rest is history. Less than a year later, Paige had finished her first draft of her dystopian pilot book, Daughter of the Reckoning Sky, polished it, and queried it (with plenty of aviation advice from her father, a proud Cessna 182 owner). She built an incredibly supportive writing community on Instagram, and went back for more with a second project in an entirely new genre.
Safe to say, she loves it here.
WIDESPREAD INSPIRATION
Paige’s varied tastes are best described by the overflowing bookshelf in her family’s cabin—a jumble of action-adventure novels (Dan Brown), thrillers (James Patterson), “beach reads” (Nicholas Sparks), and childhood favorites (Rick Riordan).
If she’s going to watch a movie it’s probably going to be action-packed (Pacific Rim, Captain America, James Bond, Top Gun, Transformers) or a heartfelt, unique love story (The Age of Adeline, Burlesque, Anne with an E, The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, Twisters).
She can’t get enough of dragon riders in any form of media. (How to Train Your Dragon, Eragon, Fourth Wing). While she adores contemporary romance, Paige also enjoys historical fiction, fantasy, and thrillers. She values romance, humor, strong characters, and fast pacing above all else.
